January's a Bombardment of Birthdays!
So many people in college had their birthdays on January! How nice it is to be so old in that year hahaha! Wish them all a very happy birthday, especially Lahvee of course! And also Happy Chinese New Year, though there really is a severe lack of CNY atmosphere this year... due to the year that comes so early, and also the fact that the economy is still in its lows... we're lucky Malaysia's economy aren't as severe as a lot of so-called developed countries.

There's lagi no 'CNY feel' in Auckland. No CNY decorations. No annoying CNY songs with kids singing their lungs out (This one I'm glad to live without, haha). No jars and bottles of so-called delicious and fresh CNY cookies ready for sale in every supermarket. No advertisement-greeting from major companies and organisations on TV. And the list goes on... :) That said, there are alot of Chinese people in Auckland. To prove a point, half of the students in my Summer School classes are Chinese (to some extent)!
Anyway...

Haha... expected la... but be happy that lots of chinese are there! at least got some ppl to chat with... i hope they're not the china's chinese...
Most of them ARE the China's Chinese, haha! At least I can speak Mandarin! :) (The chat has to be short though, cos'-as we all know-I'm not very fluent in Chinese)
